FETTY, Reba Jean Berger, 81, of Columbia, Va., passed away on March 8, 2014. Reba Jean was born in Ashland, Va., graduated from Henry Clay High School and regularly attended Winn’s Baptist Church before moving to Columbia, where she was a member of Mt. Gilead Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene Willard Berger Sr. and Reba Elva Miller Berger; her brother, Eugene Willard “Buddy” Berger Jr.; and her grandson, David Ray Fetty. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Ralph Raymond Fetty Sr.; her children, Ralph Raymond “Ray” Fetty Jr. and wife, Tina, Laura White Smith and husband, Harold, Glenda Priddy Groome and husband, Gregory, and Mark Willard Kennedy Fetty and wife, Sylvia; grandchildren, Michael Jason Priddy (Erika), Mark Daniel Fetty, Stephen Eugene Fetty (Jessica), Jonathan Frederick Fetty, Christopher Mark Fetty, Brittany Meredith White, Grace Marie Fetty, Kevin Matthew Fetty and Cody Matthew White; other grandchildren, Allyson, Lauren, Jen, Gillian, Robyn, and Paul; six great-grandchildren; many cousins and close friends. Reba Jean was loved by all who knew her. The family wishes to thank the doctors and staff of Henrico Doctor’s Hospital for their many years of excellent service and care. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 10 at Bliley’s-Staples Mill Funeral Home, 8510 Staples Mill Rd. Visitation will be held Sunday, March 9, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Bliley’s. Interment will immediately follow the funeral at the Winn’s Baptist Church Cemetery.
